Intricate pieces are made using a variety of media including paper, textiles, rust, plaster, paint, ink and found objects. Individual pieces may be joined to produce pages, books and 3D pieces that are mounted in wooden frames.
Larger canvases of abstract and semi-abstract work with added texture from gesso and sand, sometimes paper and textiles. Acrylic paints are layered with additions of inks and metal leaf.
Smaller box canvases of abstract and semi-abstract work with ideas that remain open to interpretation. Gesso and sand give added texture along with textiles and paper. Acrylic paints are layered with the additions of inks and metal leaf.
Watercolour works on thick watercolour paper with additions of gouache, inks, pen, pencil and metal leaf. Works are abstract and semi-abstract drawn from those elements that inspire with work remaining open to interpretation on many levels.
